In Susan’s Garden is an encore presentation of an episode from Season 8 where we traveled to the Pacific Northwest to visit the personal garden of Susan Mulvihill, a Master Gardener, author, and blogger whose beautiful blooms and smart improvisations just might inspire you, too.
It was a joy to experience her garden. You can truly see her passion for nature in every corner of her garden where she nurtures a very lively ecosystem. To know that Susan’s garden is providing a safe environment for all the creatures that came to visit was so gratifying. It made sharing her story and garden with our audience that much more special.

Susan was inspired to build an insect hotel in her garden after seeing examples of them in her travels.
It’s always fun to visit a perfectly manicured botanical garden, but the best learning often comes in everyday gardens grown by regular folks just like us.
