Well, the video editing backlog is starting to pile up. I taped this segment two weeks ago and finally pieced together enough time during my travels over the last week to get this posted. As you'll see from watching, I'm off to a great start, thanks to a little help from my virtual friends on Twitter. To date, I've planted many of the seeds that you see in the video and almost all of them have germinated. You can now watch these videos in a larger and clearer format on my YouTube channel at joegardenerTV. Just be sure to click on the HD button under the video to see it in HD.
I'll also post the video soon from my segement yesterday for GMA-Health. They devoted an amazing six-minute segment to this topic of growing your own food for cheap. They were happy to allow me to talk about what I'm doing to grow my own for under twenty-five dollars. I'll tell you more about this day and post that segment video, as well as my own pirated, behind-the-scenes video, hopefully tomorrow.
Well the day you posted this, I started getting Tweets saying “You’re on Joe’s video!!” “Joe is talking about you!” For a brief moment, I was a celebrity! Thanks for the mention Joe. I’m so glad that you got such a nice selection of seeds.
I really like the editing and music on this one. It turned out very nice. I think you are a very fast learner on the other side of the camera! You are doing a fabulous job. I’m having fun watching the whole process on video. Keep ’em coming!
Hey Joe!
Thanks for the mention in your video – I was really flattered. Considering all the seeds you’ve got now, I’m wondering if you’ll be feeding your whole neighborhood for $25!
Hey Joe,
Thanks for the mention in your credits! And of course I love the music selection. Perhaps in the future I could play something for you to use.
Joe – you’re awesome! So glad you got all your seeds!
And while I love the attention for the photo on the card, that’s not actually me. I work for a group that gives grants to non-profits and that’s of one of our grantees, Oxfam Ireland. 🙂
But, I’m flattered you think I’d send seeds all the way across the ocean! I will strive to be so generous!
Much luck with the garden. I’m rooting you on all the way.
